Citizen-it’s not time to move, it’s time to stand and be heard. Electing more conservative judges is a good step. The system is pretty much the same everywhere, moving will just be to a new place with the same issues; it just seems worse in a smaller community because we know everyone in our respective areas. Once the elected officials realize they can be fired, they will act more in the interest of those they are supposed to serve.

Unfortunately, these kinds of things may well increase as the economy gets worse. Vigilance is the answer.

It’s such a shame that innocent folks happen to live in a neighborhood where drugs are being sold. 88 years old and having to put up with that type of behavior is uncalled for. He should be in jail!!

the difference between here and other places is we have north escambia.com
what I mean is, these types of things happen all over the place but most people do not know about it. we have a “REAL” news source that is not affarid to print the news. I have lived all over the place and so often the news is filtered for one reason or another. I do not think our community is different than any other community, we are just better informed here. our system is a big joke and not the kind I find very funny !! they let criminals free and then other people get hurt along the way I am sooooo ready to move !!!

why do these types of people make bail? obviously shooting into someones home shows you are a danger to others. I do not understand why he is out until his court date in october. I wonder if he will even show up?
