Log trucks, cement trucks and dump trucks have little or no consideration for other drivers on this stretch of road. I witness them everyday driving side by side blocking both lanes of traffic like they are in some sort of NASCAR race. Mark my word, someone is going to die due to these driver's negligence if something isn't done soon. There are very few circumstances when these drivers should be driving in the left lane, much less right next to another big truck. DOT do something soon, our lives depend on it. I don't know if he was responding to a call or not, but he didn't have his lights. I had my mother and my two little boys in the car with me. It was a disappointing incident to me because I believe that our law enforcement should be saving lives, not endangering lives. Its got a 55mph Speed Limit but it seems everybody does 70-85mph on average. Its a nightmare. On the other hand, I've got to drive home from Louisania on Wednesday. I came close to getting killed on Hwy.59 in Foley one day by a little sports car that thought he was on the Indy 500.! This speeding is getting out of control , especially on Interstate 65! Thanks!
