I am so sorry for your loss. I know how u feel (truly) as i have lost my son as well. I am sorry that i could not attend the funeral, but as u will come to find it was hard enough for me to come to the funeral home. knowin that my baby was there. if u ever need to talk to me, my number is 679-4453 never hesitate to call it will never be too late to call me. i totally understand how it feels to have ur baby taken away, your heart ripped out and yet u still have to go on for the others in your life.. love ya, girl.

Kim, I’m so sorry. We came in Fran’s tonight after fishing all day, expecting to find you waiting for us with our glasses of tea on the table. Then they told us what had happened. My heart aches for you.

I know there’s nothing anyone can say or do right now to take away your pain, but just know that you are in my thoughts and in my prayers. I pray that God will ease your pain and give you grace to make it through this nightmare. And if it helps at all – your daughter is in a place that words can’t describe. When she left this world, she didn’t feel pain or fear or regret at having to go. She never looked back. She left here with an incredible feeling of peace and wonder and joy unspeakable.

I know – because I was well on my way to that place when the folks at Sacred Heart yanked me back. I almost made it home, but it wasn’t my time. Karen made it, all the way.

It is so hard to find the words to say. I can’t seem to go too long without crying. I haven’t seen Richey in probably 5 or 6 years. I can still remember her voice, her smile, and the happiness that she brought to those around her. I have yet to meet anyone who has the ability to light up a room the way she does. My son keeps telling me not to cry because “I will see her again in Heaven”. I know thats where she is and I know that I am blessed to not only have known her, but to call her family. My prayers go out to the rest of the family and to all of her friends.
