We live off of Kingsfield and 297A and we can not get Channel 10 either.

We have the converter and a 9.99 antenna from Target. We get 3-1 and 2, 5-1,2,3, 10, 15-1,21 has several, 23 has several, 33 has a couple, 44, and 55. We live in Barrineau Park.

I can’t get Channel 10 either and I live on the highest spot in Escambia County. When I called and asked about it, I was told that it must be because I was in a “low area”. When I told them where I live, they had no answer other than to try rescanning. I have and I still don’t get it.

To those of us who are, “Of age”
Does anyone remember the “good ole days” when we got that NEW T.V. and somebody had to stand outside or get on the roof and a partner would stay inside the house and scream, “NO, turn “IT” the other way”! Just to adjust the antenna.

This really brought a smile and a great memory to my minds eye. Seeing one of my brothers climb the antenna pole after of course climbing on the wood stack by the window of the house. Arguing over who would get to climb on the house and then jump off the front porch. S as not to mess-up the new setting. How sweet and simple, “Good old days”.

lynn, I dont know why but channel 10 is hard to pick up , its all according where you live and your surroundings. One thing you might can do if you havent already is upgrade your antenna to a long range antenna and upgrade your wiring. I know someone that did that and it worked for them. Just a suggestion, it might work, and it might not work for you. Good luck

I’ve done all the scanning I can do, but for some reason I can’t get Fox 10 with my converter box and an outside antenna. We turned the antenna some to see if that would help, but if we turn it too much then we’ll lose all the other stations!!
