The ECHS band was told the wrong time. I think that it was very tacky that no one called to let the ECHS band, ECHS ROTC, and Pensacola NAS know that the parade time had changed from 10:00 to 9:30. If you noticed the representatives from NAS did not march in the parade.

I sure hope that this event will be better planned for next year. Our military does deserve better recognition. I don’t think many of the Atmore residence were aware of the parade as well as the Northview people were. It sure seemed that it was all about Northview.

Good job Northview NJROTC & band, Pensacola High and Pensacola NAS and Escambia County High JROTC!

It’s a good think Northview and the Pensacola groups showed up, or there would not have been a parade. Where was the ECHS band?

And where were the residents of Atmore? They sure were not on the streets. I saw empty streets and the families and friends of Northview lining Main Street.

Our military deserves better from Atmore.

I’m so proud of these kids for giving up their Saturday morning to participate in this event. It broke my heart that there were not many spectators for such a meaningful event, but I’ve had a grin on my face all day thinking about how sweet all of the veterans were that participated. You could tell it meant alot to them to have this parade and ceremony. Congrats to the Northview ROTC for their well-deserved awards!
