A hugh thank you to some unsung hero's. Elery Tedder, Chris Madison and James Merchant for their work to get the pond ready for the big grand opening. These 3 guys worked almost non-stop for two weeks to get the grass and flowers planted, sidewalks formed and poured, cleaning, touching up and overall getting it ready for the public event. these guys are part of the behind the scene employees that make this nursing home what it is today.......GREAT

thanks guys for everything

Thank you to all the hard-working staff and volunteers who made it all possible. Another big THANK YOU to all of you who participated and helped make it a success. We hope to make it a regular event, something to help bond the community. Expect the next one to be even better.

My grandmother, Vera Burkett, was a resident of Century Care Center until her passing earlier this month. The first time we drove past the home after she died, my husband remarked, "I never got to take her fishing...". They were looking forward to spending time fishing this pond, and I know she would have loved it if she'd lived long enough to see it finished. Thank you, Mr. Ripley for providing this for the residents!
