Yes these 2 men did wrong in every sense and nothing can be said or done to undo what they have done, BUT I am here to tell you that if it takes every day for the rest of my life I will see to it that the “FAKE CRACK DEALERS” become inmates too.
You know it bugs me to NO end that the worst of all criminals (DRUG DEALERS & CHILD MOLESTERS) pay LESS consequences than a “Bad Check Charge”
You write a bad check and spend 18 months in jail, you sell drugs or molest a child and you get to wear the electronic jewlery, BUT thats Florida for you.

SINCE WHEN R U ALLOWED TO WRITE SOME OF THIS B/S ON THIS SITE? WHY R PEOPLE EVEN DISCUSING THE THINGS THAT DON’T MATTER. THESE MEN HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM AND NEED HELP, NOT ALL THE HARSH WORDS. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN ANYONE, AND SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOU. WOULD YOU TALK DOWN ABOUT THEM OR WOULD YOU HELP THEM. EVERYONE HAS THIER OWN DEMONS AND DEAL WITH THEM VERY DIFFERENTLY. I THINK IF YOU DON’T HAVE SOMETHING ENCOURAGING TO SAY OR IDEAS ON HOW TO HELP THE COMMUNITY AND A FRIENDS, EVEN IF THEY’RE STRANGERS, YOU SHOULDN’T EVEN OPEN YOUR MOUTH. The system sucks, the cops aren’t doing their job,and jail doesn’t help anyone. The only good thing out of this, is, the crack dealers are probably scared to death now. They won’t mess with anymore Redneck boys.

I do believe that Teen Challenge has a program for men now. A good while back I heard they had about an 85% success rate. They have one for women too. I’ve met folks from both. I believe it is worth looking into.

I think you should continue to post as long as you believe you have something constructive to say. I do not believe any of the posters own the comments section. Ok, Calm, Peace, Grant is not mentally disabled or have FAS. Thats a lousy picture of Grant. He has a drug problem, he’s been fighting it for a long time. He needs help, Pathway For Change, for instance might be a suitable option, maybe psychiatric help. Definitely doesn’t need prison time.

My intention is not offend. To clarify, Fetal Alchohol Syndrome and some genetic mutations manifest themselves with the same physical features. I have family member with similar features. I’m not accusing the mother of anything, just stating a fact. Google Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and you’ll see many illustrations of the physical affects.

By the way … I know many people with a variety of disabiliites who are talented, loving people. I also know that if this man is mentally disabled, then he needs a different path than state prison.

I will not post again on this matter.

Whoa. Please slow down for a moment. In my opinion, “me the people” made the same observation that I had made. He/she ??saw the same thing I did, and I truly believe was trying to be helpful. The condition I believe I am finally seeing has a name. It is called “fetal alcohol syndrome.” And I am also qualified to make that observation. Sometimes a thing has to be named before help can be sought for it. I did not say anything, as I was debating whether or not I should do so in this forum. I hesitated because I did not want to chance hurting someone who may not understand. But, I must come to the defense of this other unknown voice.(“me the people”) I think you are being way too harsh kgar79. Sometimes, the truth can be painful, but perhaps help cannot be sought, unless one knows what to help. My thought has been, for years, that there was something just slightly amiss, but could not put my finger on it. Yes, I have heard that Grant is a good musician. And, I have never thought of him as violent. I believe we are onto something here. This could be a discovery that could be of great help to Grant. It is not a put down. I have big flat feet and slight dyslexia. That does not make me a bad person. I think the days are long gone where handicaps were hidden, and the person treated in a way that was below the dignity of everyone else. All of us have something to overcome, and are a sum total of the genetic influences and prenatal events that color our entrance into this world. I think you, and “me the people” and myself, and others, all care about, not only these men, but the people they put in harm’s way. Can’t we all have some civil input here, and try to think the best of one another?
