And, we need to quit destroying old buildings and building new ones in their place. WHY do we do that? They just don't build them like these old gems anymore. It would cost less to just do any needed repairs. These old buildings, like the Molino, Barrineau Park and Enon schools are, most likely, NOT built with brick veneer, but with real bricks. They all still look good also. If there is a hurricane, I'd choose these to be a shelter, way before any new, modern one. I believe they are much more sturdy.
