I think it’s obvious the ones complaining are kids. Just look at the grammer and punctuation. If they are adults, however, they need to freshen up their skills and learn from their kids. I personally think a fall break is rediculous. Three months off in the summer, Christmas break, and Spring break is enough. I think the fall break was created by the teacher’s union since they are salaried employees and don’t deserve to to be forced to perform slave labor.

i do not like that the school year is so long and that they don’t get any breaks!!!:( escambia school district needs to think it over more

Calendar for 2009-10 isn’t bad at all. I love that the students are starting later in August and would even like to see students going back just after Labor Day – the official end of summer -like it was “back in the day”. Now if we could just do something to get rid of that ridiculous FCAT test!!

kids need to have more fall break than a three day weekend, it’s stupid and mean. good thing my kid goes to a private school

Wow. Can people quit complaining so much. Big deal We’re still in school in June. Get over it! I like the fact that we don’t go back until August 24. That’s great. And June 4 is not that late into June. It’s only 4 days into the month. Geez…Grow up North Escambia!!!

I miss our fall breaks we used to get! It was so nice to be able to take a fall vacation to the mountains!!!

I am SO dissappointed that we did not get more than one day for fall break in November.

I do not think that it is right that kids will still be in school in June because that is just to late to still be in school. We rather go back earlier in August and get out in May than June. I hope that the Escambia County School District changes this.
