I to am glad everyone is OK. I feel that police officers are damned if they do and damned if they don’t……if he hadn’t gone after the car he would have been criticized and as it is he was criticized because he did……people you can’t have it both ways….let them do their jobs….that’s what they get paid to do. Besides it was it was 12:15 AM you know dark thirty……most people are at home in bed at that time of the night!

Thats great that no one was hurt. It is actually necessary to pursue the vehicle if they fail to stop. I don’t think it was something that the officer just felt like doing. You never know why the person is trying to flee… what if they just commited a murder? You don’t want to find out that you let someone like that go. Anway, I’m glad everyone is ok!

Think God no one was hurt, but was it neccessary for a Flomaton Officer to risk
his life and the citizens of Flomaton and Century for a routine traffic stop. We live
in a small town, surely the vechicle would have been seen again.
