This is really sad that people have nothing better to do with their time than to get on a website and rejoice in the fact that another family is in pain. His daughter, who is a victim as well, should not feel like she has to get on here and speak up for her dad, that had to be hard for her. Thank you people…for making a 19 year old girl go through even more Hell, you should be so happy with yourself…..NOT. It’s sick that people are happy and making jokes about someone’s father being in jail on Christmas. Oh, and NEWS FLASH………….he’s not going to read this, you know who does read this though? His kids, his family, his 70 year old parents……that’s who you’re hurting, not him. So, if hurting elderly people and kids makes you feel satisfied with your life and makes you sleep good at night then I think that’s saying something about the kind of person you are, you’re no better than him.

So maybe all of this will stop. I am the daughter in this family. We told who needed to know and who we wanted to know. If we wanted everybody to know then thats what would have been done. If it bothers you all this bad about it being posted and put out in the public then you need a life or help yourself. That, to me, is just wanting to be nosey. We all have our on opinions and it not being known to the entire public is one of ours. But now theres nothing we can do about it so just go on with your own lives and let us and the ones like my aunt Beverly do what we know has to be done…My daddy was like my best friend. It hurts knowing that this is happening. In a way Im is denial but I have to realize reality. To me, my daddy is dead and this is just some man that really needs help. I will never hate him or deny him as my daddy. If it wasnt for him and my mom I wouldnt be who I am today. I love you daddy! and Im so glad to still have you mama:)

I’ve been a victim myself of domestic violence and kept it a big secret from everyone until it got so big I couldn’t keep the secret any longer because my daughter told others about it.

The fear of telling someone what was going on in the home made me fearful of even more problems at home once the authorities intervened therefore I kept quiet and put up with the physical damage done only to me, not my child, but I can tell you from my personal experience that having someone intervene and help me get away from it was one of the biggest blessings I’ve ever received in my life.

Domestic violence leads to many murders in this nation every year, and perhaps some of them could have been prevented if the person the violent acts were being committed upon would have the courage to stand up and have the abuser arrested.

My heart goes out to the Kelley family, but it goes out to them not because everyone now knows “the secret”, but rather because of everything they have gone through.

Beverly , I know this family and have know them for a very long time but i also know a family that had to lay their daughter and my best friend to rest because of a “Domestic Violence Incident”. It should be made public ! I feel for the families of all involved . But keeping it quite only makes it worse ! Maybe Mr. Kelley will read this and realize what he has done to ALL his family and finally get the help he really needs !!!!
