The driver of this car was my nephew. I am out in California and it was frightening enough to hear about it from my sister, but seeing the pictures makes it all the more real. My nephew had just joined the marines recently and was returning from his 3 day physical accessment when the accident happened a mile from home. He had a bad cut requiring stitches on the bridge of his nose, probably caused by a tree branch through the open window, but is otherwise ok. When my sister saw him at the hospital, he was covered in blood and it was very frightening. Head and face wounds bleed a lot and the damage appeared to be far worse than it was. He will be seeing an ENT doctor later in the week, but for now, appears to have no serious damage. He is a very lucky young man.
