Hi,
i hope that Jarod is alright. my sister Brittany Tutton was the first one on the scene of the accident. she checked his pulse to see if he was was still breathing!
when she and her friend Clint got there the truck was still smoking and Jarod was in the ditch knocked out. soon after she got there Jarod stopped breathing. as soon as she knew that he stopped breathing James Hare a volunteer fire fighter showed up with his tool kit and him and Brittany got Jarod breathing again! then life flight landed and took him away. My sister is in the Bright orange shirt in the 4th picture…. also my sister and him were close friends all throughout school her Jarod and Cord Cook were inseperable.
thanks and i have prayed for all of jarods family and jarod since it happed i hope that he is okay

Has anybody heard how Jarod is doing? I pray for him every day even though I don’t know the man. We live close to the scene of the accident and saw the events unfold.

The story does not say that he died. It says he was critically injured. That means very seriously injured. The person “PK” that commented made that mistake, but the story does not say that he died. I hope your cousin is doing as well as possible.

I have worked many accident scenes in my carrer and can easily see when powers much higher than humans have a hand in someones survival. This is such an accident. I have known this young man for a long time and have watched him grow up with my children. My prayers go out to him and his family. God Bless you all !!

The article states that speed was an “apparent” factor , lets not jump to conclusions on this young man’s driving habits until all the facts are out. To his family, I hope he comes out of this OK.

Until drivers begin to assume responsibilities for their own safety behind the wheel,there will continue to be drivers who drive and act reckless,putting innocent people at risk.
We (the government) cannot continue to try to protect us from ourselves.It is plain and simple SPEED KILLS.There are not enough law enforcement to monitor every reckless driver or dangerous highway.When we get a driver’s license we assume that responsibility(or at least that is the way it is supposed to be).
Sadly it sometimes takes something like this accident as a wake up call to those who think they are invincible.
Maybe that is an answer…have the survivor of an accident caused by reckless driving to go to the schools to do a program on responsibility to the young people before they start driving
The good part? the driver was not killed and neither was anyone else.
The bad part? rehab will be long lasting and a very slow progress. Financially it will cost the driver quite a bit.
