I think it’s a very sweet gesture that shows how much a church body appreciates and loves their new pastor!!! My son and his lovely wife and 5 and 1/2 children are in the ministry and this kind of thing is wonderful !!!!!!!! Please pray for them,they are seeking God’s Will about a church…….they’ve been apart from the last pastorship for three months and their son broke his leg while they were here on a short sabbatical,so it’s been tough.BUT, God’s wonderful people have allowed them to stay in an unused parsonage and they have been blessed with a brand new washer and dryer from a young couple they were discipiling in the former church!!!GOD’S people have furnished them with lots of food{enough to last three months} and are paying their utilities.They have clothed the five children.It blesses a mother to know that there IS a GOD who loves and cares for HIS own…….those who are willing to go wherever HE leads them……even if it’s Valdez,Alaska…..or China.Thanks for listening to a grateful mother to her GOD!!!!
