Wow. You guys are so nice! Mrs. Webb is my grandmother and I thought I might look up her book on Google. I didn’t know she’d been a teacher for that long!!! Pete (Pellar) is my uncle and Jean is my mom. I’m going to ask her if she recognizes these names. Plus, I’ll ask Pete too.

I graduated from Flomaton High School in 1954. Mrs Webb was my english teacher. She also was our drama coach. I will always remember our play we put on that year. I was so glad to see you had written a book. I love to pass the time reading. I know I am going to enjoy it .Tknaks again Mrs. Webb for your time and patience with a bunch of teenagers who didn’t think they needed to know about verbs and nouns.

I’m so proud of Mrs. Webb. She was my English teacher at Ernest Ward. One of my favorite teacher at Ernest Ward. I grew up in school with her son Pellar. Pellar and I played basketball at Ernest Ward. May God bless you even more.

A book I don’t want to put downbefore finishing it. I was “JO” in the EWHS production of “LITTLE WOMEN” 1961. Mrs Webb was our director/producer. Learned a lot from her direction of the play. Enjoyed being w/ her last Sunday. Thank you JJ Webb, you’ll never know how much you influnced my life.

How exciting to attend a book signing from someone you have known since your teens! You were a very important person during my high school days. You taught us so much more than what the course requirements were. I acquired my love for reading from you. The method of teaching you used left many “pearls” of knowledge imbedded that surfaced as the need arose.

Thank you for all you gave to us and for being the kind loving person you are.
