I'm not even going to get started on the insurance savings that one would recieve from having a department respond that only recently lost their class one rating, a coveted iso rating by any department. Not to worry though,recent budget cuts have brought minimum manning to dangerous levels and even helping nearby departments with mutual aid is putting city tax payers at risk by not having their trucks inside city limits. I think the amount of fire departments that responded to this disaster belies that argument.
