There are way to many abused/neglected animals out there and not enough consequences for doing it. We have 8 dogs of our own and four fosters because most of the dogs weren't or aren't adoptable. These animals are seniors and nobody wants old dogs. I've had rescues that lashed out at you in fear because they didn't understand human contact. I've had @ 15lb pitbull that should've weighed 70. He couldn't walk when we got him and needed to be picked up to go outside to potty. These are some of the atrocities I've seen in my rescue life.
